Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Radar Modeling & Simulation Analyst to join our team! In this role you will get to support the Missile Defense Agency Ground Sensor Modeling and Simulation Team.
What You'll Be Doing:
Execution and analysis of digital radar M&S, specifically high fidelity radar models such as Open System Architecture Sensor Model and Common X-Band Element Development Tool and medium fidelity radar models
Using MATLAB scripts, perform radar functional analysis of search, acquisition, track and discrimination and perform detailed root cause analysis as needed on unexpected performance
Develop MATLAB, Python or C++ scripts to support execution and post processing analysis activities
Maintain Modeling and Simulation baseline configuration that aligns with the tactical system configuration build plans and identify Modeling and Simulation capabilities and limitations
Develop and review technical memorandums, white papers, and briefings supporting findings and conclusions of analyses
Support government team members in the presentation of briefings
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Prior experience working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project
BS/BA with 7+ years experience
Proficient in MATLAB use and programming to support in-depth analysis
Secret Clearance or higher required
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Master's Degree in STEM field
Strong technical understanding of models and simulations, especially constructive and digital simulations
Experience with software and M&S integration, test planning, and execution
Works independently, applying engineering rigor to analyze and resolve problems within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Ability to self-manage and initiate within team structure
Ability to decompose complex problems to actionable elements
Ability to work across organizational boundaries
Ability presenting complex information and concepts to Leaders at various levels
Proficient with Microsoft Office® applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Working knowledge of MDA organizational structure
Working knowledge of Missile Defense System (MDS) architecture and concepts

Salary Range:
$79,100.00 - $138,400.00
