Parsons is seeking Senior Software Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency Ground Based Midcourse Defense Program Office. This position requires a candidate to analyze computer software required to support hardware or technical service products of a major DoD System. The Senior Software Engineer will review system architecture and implement appropriate development and support tools to ensure product performance. The selected candidate will test and debug related software and routinely conduct code inspection.

Tests and debugs related software
Perform Code Inspection
Leads activities to develop and maintain complex architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems
Provides technical leadership for software projects and leads software supplier management activities
Serves as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes, and regulations
Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science, Information System or Related STEM)
12+ years of professional experience
Active Secret Clearance
Demonstrated C++ programming experience in a professional environment
Experience in Code Inspection
Object Oriented Analysis and Design
Ability to Assist and lead peer review of code and other software related aspects of the system being developed
MDA experience with knowledge of MDA assets, their configurations, operations, and connectivity
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
