Parsons has an exciting opportunity to work as a Senior Subcontract Administrator on its Missile Defense Administration and JRAAC programs at our Huntsville, Alabama facility.

Our ideal candidate will have strong skills and ability to create detailed price analysis, sourcing skills for all technical labor requirements, create sourcing justifications and negotiate terms and conditions with the following experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years of work experience involving typical procurement activities, including subcontracting administration

  • Minimum 5+years’ experience with negotiating Subcontracts terms and pricing for Technical Labor agreements.

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience creating FFP, TM and CP subcontracts and exceptional knowledge ofgovernment procurement regulations.

  • Cost Point Deltek Procurement system experience is a plus.

  • Excellent Excel skills to include V Lookups, Pivot Tables and creating formulas.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite of products.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required

  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship required

  • Minimum 5+ years of government procurement experience required

  • Previous experience and track record of understanding of government subcontracting principles, including FAR, DFAR, and DOL regulations required

  • Previous experience and overall understanding of procurement principles and concepts, including, but not limited to, solicitation of proposals, proposal analysis, award and administration of subcontracts, and closeout procedures associated with cradle-to-grave procurement responsibilities required

  • Previous experience and strong knowledge and experience with service contract procurement with cost-plus and TM contract types required

  • Previous experience and track record of success creating cost and price analysis justifications to support subcontract awards required

  • Previous experience with providing market research to support source selection of subcontract awards required

  • Knowledge of Micros required

  • Previous experience with Cost Point Procurement and Subcontract preferred

  • Previous experience and knowledge of purchasing practices in the engineering and construction industry, excellent communication skills, and demonstrated proficiency in utilizing DMCS is preferred.


  • Must be able to adapt to and be a positive agent for change.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers required

  • Strong organizational and workflow skills and required.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite of Products
