Parsons is seeking a THAAD Advanced Performance Analysis Engineer to provide engineeringanalysis of FMS customer Flight Test and War Games and Exercises data produced by both tactical equipment, hardware in the loop and models and simulations. Engineer participates in the preparation and execution of the THAAD FMS exercises in support of FMS THAAD Batteries and will be required to travel to host nation to provide briefings and updates to the customer. Duties include participation in working groups with FMS customer to review and coordinate test objectives and requirements and post test analysis. Individual will provide THAAD weapon system subject matter expertise when responding to FMS customer action items regarding current/future performance capabilities as well as participation and support of the exercise, either on site or remotely. Engineer duties may require participation collaboratively as a member of an analysis team to provide data reduction, analysis, development of findings, and preparation of briefings.

Experience Requirements:

  • BS/MS degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or related field), and 12+ years of related work experience with at least 9 years’ experience as a system engineer.

  • Engineer must possess strong interpersonal skills to coordinate with the Program Office, the prime contractor, and the MDA Engineering and Test Communities and with US Army personnel.

  • Strong technical understanding of the THAAD weapon system.

  • Familiarity with use of MATLAB and programming scripts using MATLAB.

  • Capability to use the Microsoft Office package to include Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Willingness to learn new processes and procedures and discipline to follow established procedures.

Desired Skills :

  • Understanding of MDA Systems Engineering practices and procedures.

  • Familiarity with MDA Test Planning and BMDS system and element level documentation process to assist with Test Objective development and Post Test Verification activities.
