Remote Employment Position
Provides mission command support to ARNG divisions, brigades, and battalion staffs to include training assistance and exercise support to ARNG units in the War fighter Functions of: Movement and Maneuver, Intelligence, Sustainment, Protection, Fires, and Mission Command. Training priorities are established by the ARNG G3 or as directed by the MTC-Commander. This support will be used to assist units in planning and executing: Digital (ERF supported) Command Post Exercises (CPXs), Integrated Staff Exercise (STAFFEX), Section STAFFEX, Fires EX, Logistics Exercise (LOGEX), Digital Communications Exercise (COMMEX), Field Training Exercise (FTX). Shall provide tactical expertise, exercise design, exercise control, and technical support (advising on the integration of the mission command systems) to ARNG units, thereby enabling unit commanders to conduct mission command training, and staff-level proficiency certification, at home-station training and other regional training sites within the LVC-G environments.
A STE shall have experience as a senior trainer (middle grade). STEs shall posses a training management background and Combat Training Center (CTC) experience (or similar)
A Combat Arms, Combat Support, or Combat Service Support /NCO with primary staff experience at Battalion, Brigade, and/or Division level (or similar)
PreviousOperations Sergeant experience at Battalion or Brigade level; previous SGM/ CSM preferred
Previous Mission Command System (MCS) experience with at a minimum CPOF
At least 6 years combined staff experience, or eight years of specialized experience in a MCTSP duty position, or a similar position.
Army Information System qualification(s).
Recent experience working within the National Guard training support system, or a similar system.
Two or more years working with and using Computer Assisted Training exercises.
Senior Leader Course (SLC) and Master Leader Course (MLC) qualified. Sergeant Major Academy and Battlestaff Non-Commissioned Officer Course (NCO) Graduate preferred. (Military Education Level)
