Parsons Corporation is seeking an experienced leader to join our growing Indianapolis environmental practice. Parsons’ Indianapolis office is leading the way in delivering major transportation projects across the state and our full-service environmental group is integral to its success. This role requires:

  • Technical expertise in the NEPA process and one or more of its disciplines. Experience with the highway/bridge sector is required.

  • Organizational skills to be responsible for managing the environmental scope, schedule and budget for environmental projects.

  • Commitment to working in a team environment and providing leadership and mentorship to other staff.

What You'll Be Doing:

Project Management

  • Manage NEPA documents for highway/bridge projects in Indiana. Experience with higher level CE documents (CE-3/CE-4) and EA/EIS documents required.

  • Responsible for project management (scope/schedule/budget) of environmental projects.

  • Ensure the timely delivery of all contract requirements and implement Parsons’ quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) system including reviewing work products and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with other disciplines involved in projects (public outreach, roadway, bridge, drainage, construction).

Business Development

  • Responsible for the development of pursuit pipeline and mining opportunities for the environmental group.

  • Responsible for developing and executing the Win Strategy and leading proposals for environmental pursuits.

  • Serves as main point of contact for various clients and carries out Client Management Plans.

  • Identifies business development opportunities and marketing events.

  • Maintaining relationships with other potential teaming partners.

Operations

  • Provide technical guidance to team members within areas of expertise.

  • Identifies the staffing plan for projects and pursuits for projects.

  • Identifies staffing needs and leads recruiting efforts.

  • Develops career development plans with all direct reports.

What Qualifications You'll Bring:

  • 4-year degree in environmental science, planning, engineering, or related field

  • 15 years or more of related work experience

  • Relevant professional certifications (AICP, PWS, CPESC, etc.) are desirable, but not required

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Previous consulting experience strongly preferred

Salary Range:

$117,000.00 - $210,600.00
