Parsons Corporation is seeking an experienced professional to join our growing Indianapolis environmental practice. Parsons’ Indianapolis office is leading the way in delivering major transportation projects across the state and our full-service environmental group is integral to its success. This role requires:
Technical expertise in the NEPA process and one or more of its disciplines. Experience with the highway/bridge sector, specifically with INDOT projects, is strongly preferred.
Organizational skills to be responsible for leading and delivering environmental tasks/projects.
Commitment to working in a team environment and providing leadership to other staff.
A relationship-builder that brings an attitude of partnership with our clients.
What You'll Be Doing:
Manage and/or deliver NEPA documents for highway/bridge projects in Indiana. Experience with higher level CE documents (CE-3/CE-4) documents preferred.
Serve as the environmental lead on moderate sized projects and/or task/discipline lead on complex projects.
Provide technical guidance to team members within areas of expertise.
Communicate and coordinate effectively with other disciplines involved in projects (public involvement, roadway, bridge, drainage, construction).
Implement Parsons’ quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) system including reviewing work products and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
Actively participate in public involvement activities (meetings, presentations, etc.)
Support business development activities including project pursuits and preparation of letters of interest.
Leadership and growth opportunities abound for motivated individuals.
What Qualifications You'll Bring:
4-year degree in environmental science, planning, engineering, or related field
10 years or more of related work experience, with experience supporting INDOT projects preferred
Relevant professional certifications (AICP, PWS, CPESC, etc.) are desirable, but not required
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Previous consulting experience a plus

Salary Range:
$104,200.00 - $182,400.00
