We added 27 people to our Indiana team within the last year and we are still growing! We are seeking 2-3 more Project Engineers/Sr./Principal Engineers for our team in Indianapolis. Our team supports projects around the region in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee. We also provide support to other programs around the country as needed. We completed I-69 Section 6 Contract 5 Best-Value procurement last year and are delivering Clear Path 465, I-69 Ohio River Crossing and I-465 Northwest right now. As a Project Engineer (Sr. or Principal) - you will work with a seasoned PM and integrate the various engineering, scheduling, procurement, construction, and start-up aspects of small- to large sized roadway/highway or interchange design projects. Your title, compensation and project responsibilities will be based on your experience. Expect to be responsible for the technical excellence of the engineering functions of the project including coordination of technical disciplines, procurement of materials and equipment, and construction planning assistance.


Assist Project Manage and develop the scope of engineering work, schedules, and budgets for the assigned project elements, and monitors progress to meet schedule and budget requirements.

Determine the scope of procurement work, schedules, and budgets for technical aspects of the contract and monitor progress.

Leads or participate in pursuit strategies and proposal and Letter of Interest (LOI) preparation.

Participates in business development activities and marketing events.

Participates in professional organizations by leading committees and board representation.

Recruit, mentor, retain and develop top industry talent to enhance the current high-performance culture.

Review work produced to ensure that applicable codes, standards, and procedures are followed, and that quality is acceptable. Monitor productivity and technical proficiency of your team of engineers.

Assists the Project Manager in planning, directing, supervising, and controlling the execution of projects. Participates in determining the technical skills and staff hours required for successful completion of the project.

Prepares technical reports, plans, project manuals, and documentation of activity for the client and project management.


4-year degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and 10 years or more of Roadway/Highway Design engineering experience. Must have experience working with Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT)

PE License is required

Proven ability to perform in a supervisory/leadership role
