Participates in post-award contract administration functions including fulfilling and meeting contract requirements, negotiations and administration.
Support and advices the project manager in all legal matters and the client’s contractual matters meet contractual compliance regarding A/E master service agreement contracts and design sub-task orders.
Specific to this position on the Jazan program – Act as the contract administrator for a/e master services agreement contracts re-design services contracts and RFP development.
Performs all pre-award activities for release of design task orders.
Maintains a legal and contractual liaison between the A/E Contractor, SAPL and the Client.
Coordinates with the project manager, design manager, and A/E to full administration of contracts.
Performs periodic performance of all A/E contracts and prepare quarterly evaluation reports.
Responsible for the timely preparation of legal and contractual documents such as, Letters of Instructions (LOIs), contracts change orders / modifications, insurance documents, sub-contractor approval packages, Certificate of Finance Acceptance (COFA), and other legal or contractual packages as needed.
Prepares and negotiates cost impacts and schedule changes with contractor for contract change orders / modifications – as a member of the SAPL negotiation team.
Prepares contract initial and final acceptance, certificates of maintenance and coordinates contract closeout.
Prepares and maintains records of activity and status of contracts to ensure compliance with contract term and conditions.
Reviews and assists in resolving and processing claims, back charges and invoices.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Experience and Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Sciences or Law with minimum of 10 years of experience in contracts administration, negotiation, or legal affairs.
Must be fluent and be able to effectively communicate in English.
Knowledge of computers and basic software applications: MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
