  • Ready to put your skills to work on Urban Planning and Engineering projects? Are you great with people and have willingness to work hard to get the job done? Parsons is seeking a Survey Team Supervisor for our project in Jizan with a desire to enhance the fabric of our community.

  • Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise in data management and quality control of all Survey (Office and Field) work performed.

  • Manage office and field supervision of the Survey Unit Work Program and daily task, including the preparation of work plans and planning resource allocation in accordance with project task requirements and best practice survey methods/techniques and data management.

  • Provides surveying field engineering support including surveying layouts of buildings, infrastructure, earthwork projects and topographic survey etc.

  • Plan and analyze the collection of traverse, triangulation, leveling, and GPS data and isolate computational or field variance.

  • Closely monitor filed work and recommend timely field survey/revision and method of computation, adjustment, and the need for additional data.

  • Develop and implement coordinate systems, coordinate transformation systems, survey styles, and data dictionaries for different surveying systems.

  • Perform survey reconnaissance for first and second order control point network placement and evaluate field data and results obtained.

  • Capable in establish primary Network control points from Government Benchmark, precise horizontal and Vertical Control traverse measurement / Calculation and data processing.

  • Review and quality control acceptance of all field work conducted by contractors.

  • Monitor calibration and inspection of all survey instruments.

  • Competent in the use of all survey tools and equipment

  • Capable of performing complex setting out alignments grid line and levels required during site works.

  • Work with Engineers on site to agree on relevance / importance of survey data to be captured in the field for land, infrastructure, and buildings etc.

  • Work with CAD team to transmit data captured from the field to the design model and verify accuracy & completeness.

  • Prepare and implement Royal Commission field survey procedure manuals, including Survey Unit's Project Management Plan.

  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Surveying or related field with 10 years of direct surveying experience.

  • High level of expertise in using surveying-related software and equipment.

  • High level of expertise in AutoCAD and Civil3D. ESRI will be considered a plus.

  • The candidate must possess excellent communication and computer skills and must be able to work in a team environment.
