Parsons Corporation Creative Art Manager (Theming/Show) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Creative Art Manager Theming/Show to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for the design & production of all themed environment, costume design, show set props/dressing, show scripts, live entertainment from concept thru completion. Direct leadership of the show design, production, approvals & buyoffs of all show related elements of the project.
Responsibilities:
Mockup / Sample approvals, Shop Drawing Approvals, and physical buyoffs of themed elements.
Coordination with Client, IP related client, PMC, General contractor and all specialty vendors for installation, and integration of the Rides, Games, Show set, Show Mechanical, FX and all themed environments
Resolve issues arising on site being cognizant of time & cost impacts.
Promote technical and commercial excellence on the project through application of Quality Assurance processes.
Ensure attractions comply to local and international rides and attractions certification requirements (DIN, EN, ASTM, SASO).
Requirements:
Experience in entertainment complex operations
Knowledge of industry safety and code requirements.
Knowledge of industry trends and vendors
Ability to work with interdisciplinary teams of professionals.
International experience considered as an advantage.
Ability to work on multiple Attractions spaces simultaneously, excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent written and oral skills in English are essential.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 10+ years preferred cumulative experience in Art Direction, Show direction, concept development, Show scripts, and Live Entertainment in the theme park industry.
Bachelor's Fine Arts degree, Theater, or relevant field
Must have the ability to develop strong working relationships with third party design consultants, contractors and vendors, interface, and coordinate project performance with other disciplines, interpret and deliver client's vision, and proactively manage the design process and enjoy being hands on technically in the project.
Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards
Knowledge of production processes and theme park related materials.
