Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a Director - Design Management responsible for overseeing the engineering design process for large-scale infrastructure projects from conception to completion. The Director of Design management will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet technical requirements, regulatory standards, and project objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record of managing complex engineering design projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead and mentor a team of engineering design professionals, providing guidance and support throughout all phases of project development.

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the engineering design process, aligning with project timelines and budgetary constraints.

• Coordinate with stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

• Oversee the preparation and review of engineering design documents, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports, to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

• Conduct thorough risk assessments and mitigation strategies to anticipate and address potential challenges during the design phase.

• Monitor project progress and performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

• Serve as a liaison between the engineering design team and project management, providing regular updates and insights to support informed decision-making.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering

• Minimum of 25 years of experience with a minimum of 15 years’ experience in GCC (KSA Ideally) with a focus on large-scale infrastructure projects.

• Strong technical expertise in engineering principles, design standards, and construction methodologies.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

• Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Primavera P6.
