Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Technical Director - Structural Engineering to join our team! In this role you will get to oversee all aspects of structural design and engineering for the stadium construction project. You will lead a team of skilled professionals and collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of the project. This role requires a seasoned leader with extensive experience in mega structural steel projects and a passion for innovation and excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a landmark project and leave a lasting legacy in the industry.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the structural engineering team in developing innovative and cost-effective solutions for the projects mega structural steel requirements.

• Collaborate with architects and other design professionals to ensure seamless integration of structural elements with the overall design concept.

• Oversee the structural analysis and design, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance on complex structural engineering issues.

• Manage the procurement of structural materials and services, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

• Conduct thorough reviews and inspections of structural plans, drawings, and specifications to identify and resolve potential issues.

• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources related to structural engineering activities, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing updates, reports, and presentations as required.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering

• Minimum of 20 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on large-scale projects involving mega structural steel projects

• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex structural engineering projects, preferably sports complex’s, stadiums, high capacity entertainment arena’s or similar structures.
