Parsons Corporation Lead Document Controller in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a highly experienced Lead Document Controller to join our team for a large-scale infrastructure construction project! In this role you will get to will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient management and control of all project documentation for the project.

This position will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to maintain accurate records and facilitate seamless communication throughout the project lifecycle.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective document control policies and procedures ACONEX/ISETIA.

  • Maintain, update and manage solid tracking log for in/out submittals on site level.

  • Oversee the receipt, distribution, tracking, storage, and archiving of all project documents.

  • Conduct regular audits of the document control system to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Provide training and guidance to document control staff on best practices and processes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify document control requirements and implement solutions.

  • Maintain detailed logs and reports on document control activities.

  • Ensure the secure and confidential handling of sensitive project documents.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to document control.

  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.

  • Regular update to project share folder and PARDOCs.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information management or a related field.

  • Proven experience (minimum 18 years) in document control, preferably within the construction or infrastructure industry, with a minimum of 7 years in a leadership role and with minimum 8yrs experience in GCC (KSA experience ideally).

  • Strong understanding of document control principles, practices, and standards, with knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Proficiency in document management software and MS Office Suite, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and tools.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and motivate team members.
