Parsons Corporation Lead Engineer - ELV in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a highly experienced Lead ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Engineer to join our dynamic team to provide technical expertise for an exciting large-scale Oceanarium construction project. The Lead ELV Engineer will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and execution of all ELV systems within the facility.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead the design and implementation of ELV systems including but not limited to: security systems, CCTV, access control, audio-visual systems, fire detection, and life safety systems.

  • Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate ELV systems seamlessly into the overall project design.

  • Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.

  • Oversee the procurement process for ELV equipment and materials, ensuring compliance with project specifications and budget constraints.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team during the installation and commissioning phases.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure adherence to design standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors and vendors involved in the implementation of ELV systems.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues or discrepancies that may arise during the construction phase.

  • Ensure timely completion of all ELV-related deliverables within the project schedule.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

  • Minimum of 18 years of progressive experience in ELV design and construction, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.

  • In-depth knowledge of ELV systems and technologies, including their integration with building management systems (BMS) and other MEP systems.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors.
