Parsons Corporation Lead Engineer - ELV in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a highly experienced Lead ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Engineer to join our dynamic team to provide technical expertise for an exciting large-scale Oceanarium construction project. The Lead ELV Engineer will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and execution of all ELV systems within the facility.
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead the design and implementation of ELV systems including but not limited to: security systems, CCTV, access control, audio-visual systems, fire detection, and life safety systems.
Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate ELV systems seamlessly into the overall project design.
Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
Oversee the procurement process for ELV equipment and materials, ensuring compliance with project specifications and budget constraints.
Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team during the installation and commissioning phases.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure adherence to design standards and regulatory requirements.
Manage and coordinate subcontractors and vendors involved in the implementation of ELV systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues or discrepancies that may arise during the construction phase.
Ensure timely completion of all ELV-related deliverables within the project schedule.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 18 years of progressive experience in ELV design and construction, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
In-depth knowledge of ELV systems and technologies, including their integration with building management systems (BMS) and other MEP systems.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors.
