Parsons Corporation Lead Engineer - Survey in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Job Description:

Parsons is currently seeking an experienced Lead Surveying Engineer to join our team and provide technical expertise on an ambitious infrastructure project.

The Lead Surveying Engineer will play a pivotal role in overseeing all surveying activities related to a large-scale infrastructure project. This individual will be responsible for ensuring accurate and precise measurements, coordinating survey teams, and providing technical guidance throughout the project's lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success in similar roles.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive surveying plans and methodologies to meet project requirements.

  • Infrastructure solid background in mega project is a must.

  • Manage and oversee a team of land surveyors, survey technicians, and support staff.

  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure the timely completion of surveying projects.

  • Conduct field visits and inspections to oversee the survey data collection process.

  • Analyze survey data, generate accurate maps, and prepare comprehensive survey reports.

  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project needs and requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant surveying standards, regulations, and safety protocols.

  • Identify and recommend appropriate surveying equipment, software, and technologies.

  • Provide technical guidance and training to the survey team to enhance their skills and knowledge.

  • Continuously research and stay up-to-date with the latest surveying techniques, industry trends, and best practices

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the project’s surveying processes and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 18 years of experience in surveying, with a significant portion spent on large-scale infrastructure projects.

  • Extensive knowledge of surveying techniques, equipment, and software.

  • Proficiency in using modern surveying equipment and software, including GPS, Total Stations, and CAD.

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale surveying operations.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to handle complex challenges.

  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.
