Job Description:

The Reporting Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective communication and reporting of key project metrics, progress, and performance for an infrastructure construction project. Working closely with project managers, stakeholders, and various departments, this position will gather, analyze, and disseminate information critical for decision-making and project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive reporting framework tailored to the needs of the infrastructure construction project, ensuring alignment with project goals, objectives, and stakeholder requirements.

  • Collect, validate, and analyze project data from various sources including project management tools, financial systems, and progress reports to generate accurate and insightful reports.

  • Monitor project performance metrics such as budget adherence, schedule compliance, resource utilization, and quality standards, identifying trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.

  • Utilize software tools and systems to automate the reporting process where possible, increasing efficiency and reducing manual effort while ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and presentations for project stakeholders including executives, investors, regulatory bodies, and other relevant parties, highlighting key insights, risks, and opportunities.

  • Proactively identify project risks and issues through data analysis and reporting, collaborating with project teams to develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project reporting inquiries, clarifications, and updates, facilitating effective communication between project teams, stakeholders, and management.

  • Evaluate and enhance reporting processes, tools, and methodologies based on feedback, lessons learned, and industry best practices, striving for continuous improvement and optimization.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, finance professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of reporting activities with project objectives and priorities.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and contractual obligations related to project reporting, maintaining accuracy, transparency, and accountability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Proven experience (15) in project reporting, data analysis, or related roles within the construction, engineering, or infrastructure sectors with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role and with minimum 8 years experience in GCC (KSA experience ideally).

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project), reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and MS Office Suite.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and extract actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

  • Knowledge of construction project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
