Parsons Corporation Senior HSE Manager (Makkah/Taif) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Health & Safety Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to provide senior professional oversight, technical guidance, training and support to project and other Global Business Unit safety managers

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The successful candidate will cover site bounded staff and cover the following through multiple sites:

  • Monitor the safety performance of contractors on site.

  • Monitor compliance with occupational health standards and use of personal protection equipment.

  • Participate in internal safety reviews and site inspections.

  • Take part in incident investigation.

  • Check observance of the permit to work systems.

  • Carry out or procure specialist HSE training.

  • Assist HS specialist to implement health & safety standard on site.

  • Site Safety report.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS

  • Supervision Received - Project Manager, Department Manager, Discipline Section Manager

  • Higher level Engineer, Project Engineer

  • Supervision Given - Inspector, Associate Engineer, Designer, Drafter, Support

  • Personnel, Sub-contract personnel

  • Internal Contacts - All disciplines

  • External Contacts - Clients, Suppliers

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Health/Environmental from a recognized University to the approval of the Engineer.

  • Membership of known Safety Association i.e. NEBOSH

  • Hold valid certificate in First Aid/Hazard Assessment (Entry to confined Spaces / Scaffolding).

  • Minimum 15 years industrial experience working on large multi-use venues or leisure/entertainment construction projects.
