Parsons Corporation Senior Manager - Project Controls (Stadium/Sports Arenas) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager – Project Controls to join our team for a Stadium/Sports Arena construction project. The Senior Manager- Project Controls will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing project controls activities to ensure successful project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
What You'll Be Doing:
Develop and implement project controls processes and procedures to effectively monitor and manage project performance.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to establish project baselines, including scope, schedule, and budget.
Lead the development and maintenance of project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives and milestones.
Oversee cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting activities to track project expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Monitor project progress and performance metrics, identifying risks and deviations from the project plan, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting of project status, including progress reports, variance analyses, and forecasts.
Provide leadership and guidance to project controls staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum of 20 years of experience in project controls management within the construction industry, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects with minimum 8yrs+ experience in GCC (KSA experience ideally).
Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
