Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Graphic Designer to join our team! In this role will play a key role in the Media and Communication Department by creating visually engaging designs that effectively convey our brand message in alignment with the Royal Commission brand values. This position involves collaborating with team members to develop graphics for print and digital media, ensuring brand consistency and quality across all materials. The designer will manage multiple projects from concept to completion, staying informed on industry trends to deliver fresh and innovative design solutions.
What You'll Be Doing:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with internal teams, meeting deadlines and budget constraints, and scheduling project implementation based on workload,
Develop designs for print and digital media, including brochures, social media graphics, and presentations.
Work with team members to brainstorm and refine design concepts.
Ensure consistency with Royal Commission brand standards across all materials.
Manage multiple design projects from concept to final execution, meeting deadlines.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging design technologies.
Gather requirements and feedback from clients and stakeholders on design projects.
Assist in creating multimedia content, such as video graphics and animations.
Review and edit designs for quality and accuracy before final production.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
0-3 years of design experience in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field.
Previous Royal commission project experience will be an asset.
Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Familiarity with multimedia design and basic video editing skills is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects.
