Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Engineer to join our team! In this role you will plays a key role in the planning, coordination, and execution of investment projects, light industry projects, and commercial & residential developments.
This position ensures that the project scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards are met. The Project Engineer will support the Project Manager by assisting in all aspects of project execution, from initiation through completion, ensuring the project progresses smoothly, adhering to the set objectives, and meeting contractual obligations
What You'll Be Doing:
Assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure successful completion within scope, time, and budget.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
Review technical documentation, including plans, specifications, and estimates for compliance with approved standards and design criteria.
Provide technical support and resolve design or construction-related issues as they arise during project execution.
Coordinate with various engineering disciplines and other departments to facilitate seamless project implementation.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, verify work quality, and ensure adherence to safety and design standards.
Review and track project progress, identifying potential risks and recommending corrective actions as necessary.
Assist in the preparation of status reports and presentations for senior management and clients.
Monitor project budget and schedules, ensuring timely procurement of materials and resources.
Evaluate and approve contractor/subcontractor work and performance.
Provide project-related advice and technical guidance to junior engineers and team members.
Assist in the development and management of project schedules and work breakdown structures.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Perform additional project-related duties as required.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
The candidate should have Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
The candidate should have a minimum of 4 years experience in project management or engineering, specifically in construction, civil works, or project coordination.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Experience with project scheduling, budget management, and resource allocation.
Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and project management principles.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management software and tools is preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Fluency in English (both spoken and written) is required.
