Parsons Corporation Project Integrator in Jizan, Saudi Arabia

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Integrator to join our team! Responsible for planning the coordination of projects at program level. The Project integrator shall review the project documents for each project and identify the interfaces between project and the program to ensure that infrastructure is ready when the projects need it. The Project Integrator shall ensure that the interfaces are included in the Project Schedules developed by the Project Controls team. Monitors and advises PMD Project Managers when interfaces are at risk and recommends actions to overcome these risk.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Receives administrative direction on assigned projects in terms of specific objectives from Project Managers. A close relationship is maintained with Project Controls and the Private Projects Section. During scheduling and progress reviews and presentations, frequent contact with project management takes place.

  • Develops and monitors project schedules, depicts the sequence of events, dependencies, and interfaces with other projects to clearly illustrate the strategy of the program to meet the requirements of the PMD Department.

  • Develops major milestone activities from the project schedules or PMD Department to monitor the operation of the work and the inter-relationship with milestones for design, engineering, and procurement.

  • Develops and monitors pre-award schedules, and assists in “RFP” review and bid evaluations as required.

  • Coordinates major milestone activities and established “major contract events” for incorporation in the RFP special conditions and pre-award reports.

  • Reviews, analyzes and recommends approval or disapproval disposition of contractor's detailed schedules, including manpower loading.

  • Summarizes approved contractor detailed schedules for incorporation in the PMD Department utilizing established procedures.

  • Analyzes inputs and identifies areas where requirements are not being met, bringing any scheduling problems to the attention of the Project Manager with proposed solutions. Identifies potential contract changes and develops appropriate logic schedules.

  • Develops trends and forecasts designs contract progress, relative to major milestone activities, and provides input to Quarterly Progress Reports.

  • Utilizing information from the PMD Department and contractor submittals prepares to schedule presentation materials as required by the Project Manager.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business discipline or in a related field with 10 years of professional experience in a project-oriented environment.

  • Experience with planning and scheduling of project activities particularly using computer-based scheduling software such as Microsoft Projects, Primavera (Oracle’s Project Management Application), or similar programs is required.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Proficiency in the use of standard Microsoft Office products, including Access, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.

  • The ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English is required.

  • Experience of working in foreign countries, especially in the Middle East.

  • Should also be able to function effectively with colleagues and subordinates of multiple ethnicity and cultural backgrounds.
