Parsons Corporation Quality Specialist in Jizan, Saudi Arabia

Job Description:

Principal Objective: A brief summary of the responsibilities of the position.

The Quality Specialist will assist the Quality Manager in ensuring that products and processes meet established quality standards by conducting audits, inspections, and investigations, implementing corrective actions, providing training, analyzing quality data, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Major Activities Performed: List the major job function(s) of the position.

  • Implements the Quality system in the assigned department(s) and supports the assigned department in all quality matters.

  • Assist the Quality Manager in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance procedures and systems.

  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of products, processes, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective and preventive actions as needed.

  • Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective actions.

  • Provide training to employees on quality processes, standards, and procedures.

  • Analyze quality data and generate reports to track key performance indicators and trends.

  • Participate in cross-functional teams to support new product development and process improvement initiatives.

  • Stay current with industry trends and regulatory requirements related to quality management.

  • Support internal and external audits, providing documentation and assistance as required.

  • Foster a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement throughout the organization. Ensures that Parsons and customers’ quality requirements are met for products and services provided, by verifying compliance with quality standards and quality program requirements.

  • To plan periodic inspection activities and surveillances.

  • Manages (for the assigned department) the Corrective Action/ Preventive Action and Non-conformance tracking program development including defining requirements and future administration and support of a unified, system to include tracking of NCR’s, CAR’s, Audit Findings, etc.

  • To STOP the work, in the event of identifying any activity where a serious breach of Health, Safety or Environmental standard is witnessed.

  • To conduct audits to verify that plans & procedures are being followed and documentary evidence is produced and maintained.

  • To coordinate with the functional team and plan in advance any necessary inspections and testing activities.

  • Work closely the functional teams to maintain surveillance of D&B Contractors.

Experience and Qualifications: List the background experience required for the position, number of years experience, in what fields. Describe the desirable academic background.

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering or Quality discipline or related field (or equivalent work experience)

  • Minimum of 10 years of related work experience in the field of Quality.

  • Strong understanding of quality management principles, standards, and methodologies (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, etc.).

  • Experience conducting audits and inspections, preferably in a regulated industry.

  • Proficiency in using quality management tools and software.

  • Certification in quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Quality Engineer) is a plus.

  • Excellent spoken and written English language skills with the ability to communicate effectively is a must including giving presentations.

  • Positive, outgoing, resilient, and culturally sensitive approach to stakeholder engagement.

  • Computer proficiency with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, including Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and Visio. Project Planning skills are essential.
