Parsons is now hiring a SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER (BUILDINGS / STRUCTURES) for our rapidly expanding JCPDI Project in Jazan, Saudi Arabia.

We need our engineers to be versatile, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, team oriented environment and who have exceptional communication, analytical and leadership skills. In this role you will provides technical support to design management across all disciplines to coordinate the development and implementation of the engineering portions of building / structures projects.

You will receive administrative direction on the assigned projects from the Engineering Manager for Building Projects. There will be ongoing interface with A/E Consultants, Management and other JCPDI Departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish the Engineering execution plan, ensuring project program requirements are maintained and executed and required design reviews are undertaken in accordance with QA

  • Coordinate and compile technical portions of RFP for both design and construction elements of projects.

  • Analyze data related to Clients requirements to assist in defining technical aspects of the scope of work.

  • Coordinate the development of design specifications.

  • Assist with technical compilation of contracts.

  • Monitor technical progress of A/E Contractors.

  • Provide technical information / guidance to consultants and contractors on request.

  • Request technical information from consultants and contactors as required.

  • Supervise and coordinate Engineers activity.

  • Prepare reports and presentation on Building Projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field).

  • A minimum of 15 years post graduate / professional experience.

  • Professional qualification / chartered membership of recognized licensing board.

  • Professional registration may also be required Proven ability to perform in a supervisory / leadership role

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills

  • Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required

  • Must also possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and be able to select and apply appropriate engineering software for use on project
