Mechanical Site Engineer - Pump Station

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the supervision of storm water pump stations and facilities construction, operation, and maintenance.

  • Inspect pump stations and report deficiencies or problems.

  • Periodical reporting of maintenance activities and requirements.

  • Review and comment on related construction and shop drawings.

  • Perform a variety of mechanical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment.

  • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university.

  • 10 years related site work experience including supervision of storm water pump stations and facilities construction, operation and maintenance.

  • Ability to use CAD and review and comment on related construction and shop drawings. Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred.

  • Physical ability to lift objects up to 45lb and ability to work late hours and nights during rainy seasons, if required.

  • Good command of English language
