Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Process Engineer to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Performs complex engineering tasks and important process engineering work efficiently and accurately.

  • Prepares complex process engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams) and P&IDs (Process & Instrumentation Diagrams).

  • Completes a variety of process engineering assignments such as alternatives analysis, position white papers, conceptual drawings, specifications, and other documents suitable for design purposes.

  • Extracts engineering information from CAD drawings.

  • Prepares detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.

  • Reviews supplier drawing submittals and performs technical bid analyses.

  • Prepares and issues drawings, specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.

  • Provides technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters and junior Process Engineers working on the same project.

  • May be required to provide the seal and signature of the professional engineer, as appropriate, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and ordinances.

  • May act in an advisory capacity to senior management personnel on process engineering related matters.

  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

  • Work will be performed remote from or at the project site.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline

  • 8+ years of related work experience

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Engineers in Training-EIT Certification is preferred

  • Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred

  • Advanced knowledge of process engineering theories and practices

  • Advanced knowledge of company procedures

  • Advanced knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering

  • Effective analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to perform complex engineering tasks efficiently and accurately

  • Ability to travel for business or relocate to supplier, client, or construction site location

Salary Range:

$83,300.00 - $145,800.00
