Ready to be part of a cutting edge growing Cyber Security project that will make a huge impact on the DOD/Intel community? This exciting role includes performing traditional System Engineering and Vulnerability research with a focus on OCO (Offensive Cyber Operations) and DCO (Defensive Cyber Operations) activities. Support assessments of large scale weapons systems and other national security operations!
Work will be performed in Annapolis Junction and Linthicum, MD area.
Participate as part of the system engineering team evaluating major weapons systems for overall cyber hygiene evaluation and full vulnerability assessment reporting
Reviews and evaluates system documentation, requirements and technical specs through analysis and synthesis, decomposition, RMF and other means
Produces findings with possible mitigation strategies to system owners
Attends TEM's and Cyber Table Top exercises with customers and others to gain insight/system knowledge and provide technical solutioning
A BS Degree in a STEM related field, along with 2 years experience; OR A Master Degree in a STEM related field, along with 1 year experience; OR High School diploma and 6 years of experience in one of the following:
Experience with System Engineering of DOD systems
Analyzing needs, deriving system level requirements and contributing to the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of computer networks and system
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required
Experience with Cybersecurity / Systems Engineering ie) NIST SP 800-160 systems security engineering considerations for systems engineering, INCOSE, or other Systems Architecture/Engineering frameworks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to foster relationship development
Familiarity with weapons system development, sustainment, and security operations
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
