Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Marina Services SME to join our team in NEOM. Parsons is providing Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for the development of NEOM Infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. NEOM is a planned cross-border city in the Tabuk Province of northwestern Saudi Arabia. The site is near the Red Sea and the borders of Egypt, Israel, and Jordan. It will cover a total area of 26,500 km2 (10,200 sq mi) and will extend 460 km along the coast of the Red Sea.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparation of Technical Scopes of Services for procurement of design
Preparation and maintenance of Technical Guidelines and augmentation of Codes & Standards where required bespoke to The Line
Expert review of technical design content in areas of significant technical risk, with reference to The Line Codes, Standards & Guidelines
Providing technical advisory solutions in areas requiring deep domain knowledge, with a focus on project Zero or negative Zero outcomes
Driving innovation and best practice in the design delivery by appointed consultants
Close interface with The Line Research & Innovation Workstream, identifying and collaborating in areas requiring research
Assist with managing the Technical Excellence Partnerships (TEP) with industry bodies such as code councils
Providing technical advisory solutions in areas requiring deep domain knowledge, with a focus on project Zero or negative Zero outcomes.
Close interface with THE LINE Research & Innovation Workstream, identifying and collaborating in areas requiring research.
Ensuring that all safety regulations and protocols are strictly followed, and assist in the development of safety plans and emergency response procedures.
CORE REQUIREMENTS
Degree and/or postgraduate qualification in a relevant field of study. Chartered Membership of a recognised professional institution /organisation .
The candidate is to have exceptional experience managing the production of Employer’s Requirements and managing technical assurance processes. Experience in the Middle East would be a benefit.
Experience in a project management-type role on significant marine projects.
Significant discipline/ international industry presence.
Strong communication skills to articulate a clear technical direction with good social, networking and presentation skills.
