Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Manager - BIM QA to join our team in NEOM. Parsons is providing Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for the development of NEOM Infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. NEOM is a planned cross-border city in the Tabuk Province of northwestern Saudi Arabia. The site is near the Red Sea and the borders of Egypt, Israel, and Jordan. It will cover a total area of 26,500 km2 (10,200 sq mi) and will extend 460 km along the coast of the Red Sea.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The BIM QA Senior Manager is the interface between the Quality team and the BIM team. This position will assist with the documentation and cross-platform management of Field Quality Observations (FQOs) comparing model routing to the built field conditions as well as other BIM activities that support the Quality and BIM teams. The BIM QA Senior Manager will report to and receive direction from the Head of BIM.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Development of BIM Quality Control / Quality Assurance plans, procedures and workflows to ensure compliance with International BIM Standards (ISO 19650), to include BIM metadata requirements.
Direct, Design and conduct BIM quality control testing.
Direct, Design and create quality control feedback mechanisms, reports, documentation to support teams addressing data quality issues.
Quality review of data integration workflows such as BIM data to IFC.
Ensure BIM Team, Digital Workstream Teams and other Project Stakeholders are aware, informed and trained in applying BIM QA/QC procedures in their work.
Aggregating, sorting, and classifying Field Quality Observations (FQOs) pertaining to model-to-field install discrepancies.
Run meetings with the project Quality team to adjudicate FQOs.
Document model update requests through the BIM issue tracking platform.
Document field issues using the Quality tracking platform.
Coordinate and work with Subcontractor Quality representatives to track issues to resolution.
Generate reports communicating model-to-field install metrics.
Provide general BIM technical direction to the Quality team.
Multi-lingual: English mandatory, Arabic a plus
Must be able to work independently, make quick and effective decisions, and follow through on all assignments on time.
Must use creativity, independent judgment, and organizational and problem-solving skills to determine the best method to accomplish desired results.
Must be able to plan and organize work.
Must possess strong organizational and computer use skills and have a high level of competency to read/write/speak English, interpret construction-related documentation and communicate with co-workers.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Bachelor degree in Architecture/Engineering (or equivalent)
Previous quality and construction experience.
Advanced experience with Autodesk's Navisworks Manager.
Experience using BIM 360 and/or other construction documentation platforms.
Strong verbal, written and electronic communication skills for responding to information requests.
Must be able to access all areas and levels of the construction site for work progress review.
Strong organizational skills.
Experience with team collaboration.
General quality and construction knowledge, and the ability to understand construction terminology.
High standards of ethics and confidentiality to coordinate sensitive information.
Ability to demonstrate assertiveness and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to effectively prioritize workflow and has exceptional organizational and planning skills.
Ability to exercise good judgment, show initiative, be proactive, and take ownership of issues to ensure they are completed to a high standard of quality and accuracy.
Self-starter with the skills to research and complete tasks with limited supervision.
