Parsons is seeking experienced full-time Permitting Specialist to joina major customerlocated in the East Los Angeles Area.You will work with subject matter experts in the field and grow your career! If you are passionate about the environment, have a strong safety orientation and a few great projects under your belt - we want to talk with you!

SPECIFICRESPONSIBILITIES :

·Manage permitting process for construction to ensure permits are in place prior to work start; prepare/submit all necessary compliance reports; maintain all records required for compliance demonstration to regulatory agencies; represent the Division during regulatory compliance inspections.

·Work with the Field Project Manager to implement proactive compliance plans, procedures, programs and training to ensure compliance with permits and applicable regulations.

·Initiate and develop permit applications and respond to regulatory agency follow-up issues or requests for further information.

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • 4-year degree inEngineering, Business or Quality discipline or related field (or equivalentwork experience) and a minimum of 4-6 years of related work experience in thefield of Quality.

  • Working knowledge of localcity permitting process
