Are you a leader, collaborator, and strategic storyteller who is looking to develop winning, creative, and compelling proposals? We are currently seeking a highly motivated, innovative, energetic, creative and detail oriented individual to join our Canadian Proposal Operations team. As a proposal lead, you will champion the development and delivery of major proposals, qualifications, and other business development materials for projects in the critical infrastructure market, nation-wide. You will work collaboratively with management, creative staff and capture teams to win new business!

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES / PROPOSAL PREPARATION:
Performs detailed analysis of RFP/RFQ/RFI documents to assess requirements and develop compelling proposal narratives that demonstrate our value proposition
Develop a detailed compliance matrix and schedule outlining the entire pursuit process through proposal delivery
Facilitate proposal kick-off meeting and colour reviews (pink, red, green) to ensure we produce quality deliverables that differentiate us from our competitors and provide value to our clients
Collaborate with our graphics team to establish templates and standards for proposal look and feel, writing style, and layout
Responsible for writing non-technical portions of the proposal (i.e., cover letters, executive summaries, project descriptions, resumes, team qualifications, various management plans, win themes and discriminators etc.)
Reviews all proposal drafts and final document versions to ensure responsiveness to RFP, thoroughness, accuracy, and quality while ensuring the document layout and design maximizes the selling impact and readability of the proposal through effective visualizations
Identify any potential problems that may arise during the proposal development process and develop effective solutions
Provide oversight and guidance on proposal work assignments requested of the graphics and technical staff, as well as provide constructive feedback on the work products.
Establish a production schedule and resource plan to ensure all required proposal documents are produced properly and delivered on time. This may include working with print vendors, if proposal documents are produced externally
Responsible for conducting a quality review of the final printed proposal document and perform a detailed compliance check against the RFP requirements to ensure the submission is of high-quality
Collaborate with the Project Manager and BD Manager to develop the content for client presentations and other presentation materials
Oversee the development and preparation of the PowerPoint slides, as well as the production of any other required materials
Facilitate presentation preparation, ensuring that our team is well positioned for the interview (training available)
Degree/Diploma in Marketing, English, Business, Communications, Liberal Arts, or of a related field
Minimum 5+ years of related work experience
Proficient in utilizing Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe In-Design, Illustrator, and Acrobat Pro) an asset (training available)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is a must
Bilingual (French/English) is a strong assets
Strong facilitation, leadership, and communication skills to lead capture teams through the pursuit lifecycle
Ability to think outside of the box and bring forward new and exciting ideas
Excellent written, interpersonal, and communication skills (ability to write executive summaries, cover letters and other non-technical sections)
Able to inspire outstanding work from team members with a range of experience and technical abilities in the development of proposal documents
Capable to adapting to changing priorities in a very dynamic work environment and demonstrate the ability to work in stressful situations with critical deadlines (evening and weekend work may be required to meet deadlines)
Required to work on multiple assignments, with overlapping schedules, and needs to be able to multi- task and delegate responsibilities to team members to accomplish all tasks
