Specific Responsibilities :-

  • Assure project deliverables, and those of the contractors and subcontractors, meet with the programs' specifications and standards.

  • Assuring compliance with engineering principals and standards. Document nonconformance to specifications, codes and standards, and may be asked to participate in determining appropriate resolution.

  • Attention to details and ability to work with various stakeholders will be required.

  • A site engineer must start from analyzing various areas and factors that are related to designing and construction.

  • Assess both challenges and potential risks of the planned project.

  • Undertake initiatives for risk management and take appropriate steps for it.

  • Ensure that the said rules, regulations and guidelines are followed without any exception.

  • Managing, supervising and visiting CS / contractors on site and advising on daily site issues.

  • Adopting all relevant requirements around issues such as building permits, environmental regulations, sanitary design, good manufacturing practices and safety on all work assignments.

  • Perform supervision for random sampling assessment and offer any corrective actions of possible improvements.

  • Perform construction management including safety and quality measures.

  • Recommend project completion certificate prior to handover of the units.

  • Plan and Implement the process for OLP (Defects Liability Period) to be managed by the Employer's Facilities Management team.

  • In addition to construction supervision, the construction manager is also responsible for supervising field administration, procurement, and field engineering.

  • Reviews CAD drawings, renderings, layouts, study models, construction documents, prepared by Architectural and Engineering Designers.

  • Ensures compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.

  • Evaluate progress of each project phase to determine if time schedules and cost objectives are being met.

  • Oversee periodic inspection of construction activities and compiles noncompliance.

Education/ Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field) with typically 10+ years of construction supervision experience in Villa, Housing/ Residential projects as Site Engineer.
