Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Construction Inspector to join our team! In this role you will get to inspect and report on water distribution and roadway rehabilitation projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Daily inspection of paving rehabilitation and asphalt restorations after waster and sewer repairs and projects that have affected the road surface.

  • Act on behalf of the Owner to inspect the work of the contractors completing the patch work, milling and resurfacing of roadways, replacing or modifying temporary asphalt restorations with final asphalt surface.

  • Planning work for paving contractors, inspecting, monitoring and reporting contractors’ work full-time on site.

  • Maintain complete and accurate records of all activities and events related to the Project

  • Inspection of maintenance of traffic schemes and devices in the work zone to assure they are in accordance with approved plans, permits and standards.

  • Document damage to property or personal injury accidents on site

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Have the necessary licenses and certifications listed as minimum qualifications

  • Needs to have a valid driver's license and and have transportation available for work

  • Asphalt Paving License CTPQ FDOT Level 1 or similar (ability to get in 1-month)

  • MOT Certification Level 2 - Intermediate (ability to get in 1-month)

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, E-Builder and Proliance

  • Good verbal, written and interpersonal skill

  • Foreign language skills (Spanish) a plus

Salary Range:

$23.27 - $40.72
