Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Electrical T&D Seller/Doer to join our team and expand and differentiate us in our US Energy market. In this role you will get to support and grow our electrical transmission and distribution business as a dynamic Design Manager who would manage existing T&D projects and grow our business in this market .

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Focus on growing our electrical T&D market by expanding our internal and external client base and developing pursuit strategies in partnership with Management.

  • Lead business development strategies and development of winning proposals.

  • Establish and maintain client relationships in support of new and organic growth.

  • Keep abreast of market and industry trends to understand price to win and adjacent growth opportunities

  • Understand our competitors’ capabilities and devises plans to position the company to be successful in pursuits aligned with our capabilities

  • Manage multiple phases of electrical T&D project execution including planning, permitting, engineering and construction support.

  • Grow our existing team of electrical T&D professionals

  • Follow up with clients to ensure we are delivering on our promises

  • Own opportunity from identifying lead through contract close

  • Act as point of contact for client and stakeholders including senior management

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field) and typically 15+ years of related work experience, including supervisory/managerial experience.

  • Professional Engineer registration is required

  • Successful track record with selling and executing electrical T&D projects for major utility clients.

  • Proven results with the development and execution of strategic client pursuits, ability to influence decisions and bring strong client relationships.

  • Strong client relationships and ability to interface at all levels within client organizations

  • Successful track record with managing the execution of multi-million dollar electrical T&D capital projects including planning, permitting, engineering and construction support.

  • Ability to manage the design execution on electrical T&D projects for utility clients.

Salary Range:

$121,900.00 - $219,400.00
