Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Project Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to work with other rail & transit / systems professionals to execute new and upgraded rail system infrastructure projects for our key clients.
What You'll Be Doing:
Interface with other rail & transit professionals and rail transportation customers through the pursuit, start-up, execution and close-out of projects in the within the rail & transit market.
Provide direction and management for medium-sized projects, or several small projects, and ensure on schedule completion within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations.
The Project Manager is responsible for the scope development, scope management and commercial performance of the project to meet project goals and objectives.
Plan and define program goals and devise methods to accomplish them; develop in-depth knowledge of customer objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies.
Integration of engineering/technical aspects, as well as procurement and construction activities.
Typically manages projects up to $50 million in total installed cost.
Additional capture management/business development duties as required
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical/business field
12+ years of related work experience is required.
Experience with the interface management and systems integration coordination between all project engineering disciplines required for a rail & transit system.
Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations
Background in the execution and management of rail & transit systems projects, including experience in the interface and integration management of rail & transit systems disciplines.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Professional engineering registration, or ability to obtain a professional engineering license
