Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Sr. Software Developer! Are you good at troubleshooting, would you to breaking things to understand the resiliency of system. Parsons is looking for someone who can analyze software design, and its interface with radio dispatch. This job is unique, it’s to implement a bus communication system for 6500 buses in New York City. The system includes bus dispatch control center, buses, radio, and network.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Software integration of Computer Aided Dispatch system (CAD)

  • Lead the integration of radio into CAD software

  • Review and create concept of operations for CAD system

  • Analyze contractual scope of work and current deployment

  • Review test cases for validation and verification

  • Participating in SCCB meetings

  • Perform regression testing on the CAD software

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • 5 years in testing and implementation of software packages

  • Understanding of verification and validation activities

  • Fluent in Software design and third party integration

  • Total 10 years in the software engineering field

  • Ability to write complex use cases

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Software test experience

  • Understating of software routines, and software scalability

  • Nonconformance testing

  • QA of software code

  • validation of software changes

Salary Range:

$98,800.00 - $199,100.00
