Job Description:

Positions in Critical Infrastructure

Parsons has contributed to major infrastructure projects in Canada since the 1940’s , helping to design and build many well-known landscapes across the country, including the 401 Expansion, Regina Bypass, Turcot Exchange, Kicking Horse Canyon, Olivier-Charbonneau Bridge, and the Edmonton Light Rail Transit.

We are currently growing our Critical Infrastructure Team and are looking to fill the following roles:

Project Managers: Your knowledge of road & highway design methods, goals and objectives will be instrumental in helping us win new work and execute projects to the clients’ satisfaction. You will plan and define project / program goals and devise methods to accomplish them, as well as coordinate projects through all project phases from inception, planning, design, construction and closeout. Along with your P.Eng and 10+ years of experience, you’ll have experience managing local projects, industry contacts and a hold strong work ethic.

Designers: You’ll prepare difficult and complex road & highway design and traffic engineering layouts. You’ll design drawings utilizing theoretical and practical design knowledge. You’ll have 4-7 years of experience (intermediate) and 8+ years of experience (senior) along with solid experience using Civil 3D, InRoads & Microstation.

Civil Engineering Technologists: You will help support a wide variety of transportation-related projects, ranging from smaller land development projects to larger municipal projects involving the study, planning, and design of infrastructure such as complete streets, pathways, cycling facilities, rapid transit facilities, and other transportation systems. You’ll have experience with the local municipalities and have a strong understanding of what our clients are looking for.

Engineers: 4 – 15 years of experience and Professional Designation (P. Eng) required along with the ability and willingness to travel to support client teams. You’ll have experience working on large local and provincial municipal projects with project experience including MTO (400 series highways), and local municipalities including York, Peel, Waterloo, Hamilton, Burlington, Toronto and Halton. You will Perform complex geometrics design of transportation systems and Manage and lead the design process on large projects and implement process, scope and quality checks. You will be able to take the lead on the design of projects and be able to work with our up and coming engineers to ensure they understand the standards of quality work which you are known for.

Positions available in ON, BC, AB, SK, NT & QC but we support remote/telecommute opportunities. Military/veteran and Diverse candidates encouraged.
