Duties and Functions :
As a regional project manager you will oversee large, complex delivery or project plans and procedures. You will assist the Program Director in working with the FAA’s contracting officer (CO), and the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), government management personnel, and customer agency representatives. Under the guidance of the Program Director, you will be responsible for the overall management of the specific orders, ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the delivery order are implemented in a timely manner. Furthermore, you will perform integration planning, and interface with subcontractors and other government contractors.
This program consists of multiple projects to locate, design, install, test, integrate, and maintain complex systems and facility security infrastructures. These facilities and/or systems are located at numerous locations throughout the nation at FAA service areas and centers. You will assist the Program Director in establishing and implementing procedures and controls to bring these facilities and systems to a point of full compliance with the latest security standards.
*Work is expected to begin on this project in December of 2018.
Required Qualifications :
A Bachelor Degree or equivalent in, Management, Engineering, Business, Architecture, or Science is required. We will accept Engineer-In-Training Examination (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) certifications in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
Twelve or more years of progressive, engineering-related, general management experience in design, installation, integration, and testing of complex electronics equipment.
The 12 years of experience must include 7+ years of general experience, which includes design, installation, testing, and integration of complex systems and subsystems
You must also have at least 5+ years of specialized experience in managing security programs preferably with a multi-site scope. These 5 years of experience must also include at least a 2-year period managing highly technical installation projects involving groups of at least 30 personnel.
The primary job location is Fort Worth, TX, but frequent travel to the central FAA hub in Oklahoma City, OK is required.
