Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a Senior Roadway Project Manager to support Civil Infrastructure projects with a specific focus on Roadway projects, based out of our Orlando, FL office.

Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Project Manager specializing in Highway Design to oversee and manage our highway infrastructure projects in our Orlando, FL office. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and expertise in highway engineering and design, along with proven project management experience. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals to deliver high-quality, innovative, and cost-effective solutions that meet client requirements and regulatory standards. Additionally, you will assist the area manager for operational, financial, marketing and proposal activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage highway design projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.

  • Oversee the development and implementation of highway design plans, specifications, and contract documents.

  • Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, designers, surveyors, and subcontractors to deliver comprehensive highway design solutions.

  • Conduct project planning, resource allocation, and risk management to mitigate potential issues and ensure project success.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders, providing regular project updates and addressing concerns or inquiries.

  • Monitor project performance metrics, analyze data, and prepare progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Mentor and coach junior staff members, providing guidance and support to foster professional development and growth within the team.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and cost optimization to enhance project delivery efficiency.

  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and excellence in all aspects of project execution.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field

  • FL P.E. license or ability to quickly reciprocate the P.E. license from another state

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in highway design and project management with familiarity in FDOT projects preferred

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated track record of successfully managing complex highway design projects from conception to completion.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering innovative and sustainable solutions.

Salary Range:

$126,600.00 - $227,900.00
