Opportunity:

The Air Force Distributed Mission Operations Network 2.0 (DMON 2.0) Operations Integration (OI) Contractor team is seeking a Software and Systems Test Engineer to support advanced system/software testing in a Modeling, Simulation Training (MST) systems engineering organization. Primary duties include working in a team environment to perform factory acceptance testing of hardware/software/network devices that support distributed simulation and training with state-of-the-art virtual and constructive simulation systems.

More Specific Responsibilities:

  • Develop and apply processes, procedures, and tools for factory acceptance testing

  • Systematic debugging, identification, and isolation of issues

  • Written and verbal communication and coordination of plans, activities, and results in a team environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree and 5 years related government contract experience

  • DIS and HLA RPR FOM distributed simulation protocols and standards for DoD distributed training systems

  • Software, hardware, and network integration, analysis and testing

  • Scripting and programming in support of advanced testing of complex

  • Systems engineering and requirements flow-down, and problem tracking systems

  • Windows, Linux, Visual Basic, Wireshark, Redsim

  • Proof of U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is requireddue to government or federal requirement.

  • U.S. citizens ONLY due to government or federal requirement.
