Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Business Development Manager to join our team! In this active role you will provide business development leadership for our market sector across Europe. You will build sales pipelines, understand business negotiations and recognize and act upon opportunities to promote the Company’s expertise in infrastructure design and engineering, large-scale project management and other related services. This position suits an innovative and ambitious self-starter, determined to succeed. There will be opportunity to travel to cultivate new and ongoing business development endeavors.
What You'll Be Doing:
Establishes and maintains client contacts and develops sales strategy.
Strengthens current business ties; coordinates meetings between clients/potential clients and technical or other key individuals.
Keeps abreast of overall business trends, particularly the current business climate.
Establishes and maintains numerous contacts within and outside the industry. Follows up in a timely manner on all possible leads.
Builds and maintains sales pipeline; maintains sales database in Salesforce.
In close coordination with regional leadership and proposals development group, develops proposals and presentations for services in response to invitations to bid and provides guidance to proposal team on capture strategy.
Contributes to pricing structure, as well as other contract terms and conditions.
Negotiates contracts, including non-disclosure agreements and joint venture agreements.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business (or equivalent)
Minimum 7 years of diversified experience, primarily within the business development realm of a large, multinational company in the infrastructure sector.
A thorough understanding of proposal pricing, contract terminology, negotiations with potential clients, and the Company’s policies and business objectives, is required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and French, including excellent presentation skills.
An exceptional ability to represent the Company favorably, to develop new clients, and to negotiate with key members of other firms.
