Job Description:

Parsons is now hiring an Entry Level Environmental Engineer for our rapidly expanding business. This location will be based out of our Pasadena, CA location.

In this position you will perform various engineering and design assignments requiring. In addition, you may assist in field inspections and the preparation of inspection reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs a variety of engineering duties and design assignments

  • Assist with the development of engineering computations, material quantity take-offs, estimates, surveys and designs.

  • Conducts soil, surface water, groundwater, sediment, and other environmental sampling programs.

  • Analyzes and interprets environmental sample analysis results within the context of the geological setting.

  • Under close supervision in the utilization of engineering theories and practices, develops the creation of engineering products that meet customer quality requirements.

  • Provides support for other engineering activities as required.

  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field)

  • Some related work experience and/or internships preferred

  • Engineering in Training (EIT) Certificate is preferred

  • Requires basic process engineering knowledge, as well as a working knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering

  • drivers license required

Salary Range:

$24.18 - $42.31
