Job Description:

Parsons is hiring a Construction Support Scheduler to support a major military construction program in Southern California, potential areas include San Diego County, Riverside County, Ventura County, and Orange County

What Requirements You’ll Bring:

  • An associate and/or bachelor’s degree in any field or 10+ years of experience in lieu or a degree

  • A minimum of 5 years of construction scheduling experience utilizing Primavera P6 and its earlier versions

  • Experience in preparing or analyzing Time-Impact-Analysis (TIA) as it relates to time extension requests or claims

  • Ability to evaluate contractor baseline schedules, 3-week look ahead schedules, and monthly updates.

  • U.S. Citizenship required for this role

What Desirable Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Registration from the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) as a Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP).

  • Prior experience working in similar capacities as listed in the PWS for a DoD entity (i.e., NAVFAC, USACE, AFCEC, etc).

What Skills You’ll Demonstrate:

  • Tactful and professional communications both orally and in writing to all levels of authority and stakeholders.

  • Developed soft skills that allow one to work effectively with other government professionals, client representatives, contractor management and labor personnel, and others of varying backgrounds and experiences.

  • Extensive knowledge of scheduling terms and processes.

  • Extensive knowledge of Primavera P6 inclusive of its report generation capabilities.

  • Knowledge of the various types of time impact analysis (TIA), and the strengths and weaknesses of each.

  • An understanding of the various means to evaluate a claim.

Salary Range:

$81,500.00 - $142,600.00
