Job Description:

Employer: Parsons Transportation Group Inc.

Job Title: Senior Construction Scheduler

Job Requisition: 11863.512.3 / R153336

Job Location: Pasadena, CA

Job Type: Full Time

Rate of Pay: $151,500 to $168,700 per Year

Duties: Review engineering specifications and drawings for multiple substation and transmission distribution projects. Review and comment on Request for Proposal documents to vendors and fabricators for bidding and procurement of engineering-related projects. Analyze bids for completeness and competitiveness. Develop summary and detailed schedules for various substations and transmission projects utilizing Primavera Software. Interact with contractors to develop master schedules. Analyze contractor schedules for completeness and performance variances. Write monthly schedule analysis reports for client with recommendations for improvement. Work with Project Manager to keep informed of any scheduler slippage. Present schedule status to upper client management.

May be assigned to various, unanticipated sites throughout U.S.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in related field and 10 years of experience in the job offered or in a Senior Construction Scheduler-related occupation.

Position requires:

  1. Primavera P6 scheduling including developing and updating of schedules, estimating, WBS structures and cost control

  2. Schedule resource loading

  3. Schedule analysis

  4. Construction projects including substations, high voltage transformers, and high voltage transmission

  5. Microsoft suite programs including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams

  6. Leading project team meetings

PMP certification required.
