Parsons seeks a qualified professional Test Engineer, proficient in utilizing engineering theories and practices with a passion for providing technical support on a variety of highly complex tasks.

In this role you will design and develop engineering standards and tests to evaluate the functionality of mission critical software-based products and systems. The successful candidate will develop and implement procedures for system testing, as well as review and evaluate test results and recommend production or design changes to ensure compliance with qualify and performance standards.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
8+ years of related professional experience in some or all of the following areas:
Authoring test plans based on requirements
Executing manual and automated tests and documenting results
Working in an Agile development environment
Using Atlassian tools such as Confluence and Jira
Version control tools such as git or Bitbucket
Working in a GitLab DevOps environment
Metrics collection and reporting
Additional Desired Experience:
Test Automation with Selenium or similar web automation tools
Load testing with JMeter or similar tools
SQL database experience
Knowledge of Object Oriented Languages, preferably Java
Understanding of networking interfaces and protocols
Military Standards including 6017A, 6017C, MIL2525C, and 2045-47001C
Military networks including WIN-T, BFT2, and LAN
TCP, UDP, and other networking protocols
VSPHERE and VMWare Administration
Microsoft Windows Server Administration
Clearable and able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
Daily scrum attendance to report status, progress, and blockers
Weekly rollup reports to project leadership
Collaborate with software developers on defect identification and remediation
Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
Self-learner able to work well independently and on a small team
Hybrid schedule; minimum of 2 days per week onsite at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ
