) on domestic and international projects for our Infrastructure Business Unit, as directed by the Deputy General Counsel, Operations Contracts. In the event subcontractors do not adhere to our standardized T’s C’s you will negotiate those to ensure our company is protected. You will review all subcontracts related to prime contracts on behalf of Parsons, for services, construction and procured items. You will also represent the legal department in meetings with our subcontractors and represent the corporate legal team with Parsons internal stakeholders.

Specific Responsibilities :

Personally, negotiate the most significant contracts or contract modifications, often under difficult conditions.

Effectively negotiate the most favorable terms and conditions with prospective and current clients. Identify risks and contractual terms not conforming to Company policy.

Participates in Division, Company, and Corporate strategic planning activities for specific projects (e.g., risk assessment, bid/no bid analysis, participation in business plan development, etc.).

Assist in the development of (and negotiation and approval of) Master Services/Subcontract Agreements and other contract documentation for subcontractors.

Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor degree (JD) anda minimum of 15+ yearsof diversified experience in all phases of contract and procurement activities, for services and construction and materials, preferably in a large international engineering/construction/technology firm.

  • Must have experience performingsubcontracts review, as well as some prime contract review experience.

  • Must have strong negotiation skills and experience negotiating complex T's and C's with vendors and partners.

  • Experience with standardization of processes and procedures for T's and C's required.

  • Must have experience advising and guiding procurement personnel in legal matters as it relates to subcontracts.
