Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Network Architect to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of multi-site communications infrastructure that supports Air Base Air Defense systems.
This position will work in government facilities on Ramstein Air Base, Germany within the Kaiserslautern Military Community , the largest American military community outside the continental United States.

What You'll Be Doing:
Design and build network and communication infrastructure solutions
Build and modify transportation networks for internet protocol (IP)
Install, configure, and maintain switches, routers, and firewalls
Install, configure and maintain encryption devices
Work across multiple security boundaries and at multiple classification levels
Maintain network infrastructure documentation such as network diagrams in Visio
Coordinate closely with government customer to understand network requirements and use cases
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
CLEARANCE REQUIRED – SECRET (Candidate must have before coming aboard)
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related technical field
10+ years of hands-on network engineering experience
Experience and knowledge of Cisco routers
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Demonstrated history of teamwork and engineering team leadership
Ability to interpret Air Force IT directives and policy
Strong cable management skills
