Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Commercial Director to join our team! In this role you will get to support a major program in Riyadh
What You'll Be Doing:
Provide support and guidance on all commercial issues within the projects and ensure that commercial staff attains their maximum potential.
Interact with client and address all inquiries related to commercial and contract maximize the profitability of projects.
Payment of contractors and consultants
Internal cost comparisons and cost projections
Analysis of cost over-run and other implications.
Negotiation of subcontracts.
Preparation of contractor pre-contract work packages; manage bid process; tender analysis
Negotiate final accounts
Maintain payment logs, variation logs and claims logs
Review variation submissions
Review construction cost reports submitted by Cost Consultant
Draft and review contractual letters
Review and respond to Claims
Advice on contractual matters related to financial issues
Ensure completeness and validity of all contractual requirements
Ensure that quantity reconciliations are conducted accurately by the Cost Consultant
Assist in preparation of internal invoices
Responsibility for all financial contractual issues arising during the course of his contract.
Identify legitimate contractual claim situations and prepare suitable and sufficient documentation to clients.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Experience in a mixed-use development for a master developer client highly desirable
Proven track record of providing strategic direction to clients.
proficient in contract administration (claims/change), Procurement and management of cost consultants.
Pre and post contract experience working with development budgets.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
20 years minimum overall relevant experience, with 10 years in a PMC environment and 3 years’ experience in the Middle East.
Good team player and communicator.
Ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines
Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills.
