We need our Construction Directors to be versatile and thoroughly familiar with required contractual obligations and technical aspects of all facilities as well as those who have exceptional communication, analytical and management skills.
-Oversee and manage the Landscape and Public realm of the KSP project.
-Drafting briefs and scopes of works for all public soft and hard scape works.
-Presentation to Client, Senior Management of RCRC and other high officials.
-Management of Development Control Regulations for all open space works.
-Research and collating information on appropriate, practices, materials, equipment, suppliers and manufactures.
-Establish contacts with local & international design companies.
-Assist in prequalifying consultants, suppliers, & contractors.
-Ensuring the Landscape and Public realm design aligns with the project program and strategy.
-Manage the design review and approval process of the Landscape Masterplan deliverables.
-Overview and approval of appropriate plant material. Assist in plant material procurement & interface with the plant nursery.
-Manage softscape distribution for public space works and coordination assistance for individual plot projects.
-Manage the review and approval of, hardscape materials, mock-ups & shop drawings.
Interface with other KSP departments and assist in the general technical coordination.
Act as role model for quality and excellence.
-Degree in landscape architecture or similar.
-Confirmed project management experience.
-Minimum 20 years post graduate experience in similar developments.
-Role will have very high visibility with senior management & requires mature leadership skills.
-Excellent communication and relationship management.
-In depth knowledge of the MENA region.
-Excellent report writing skills.
-Excellent attention to detail and ability to successfully manage many facets of the project.
-Able to take initiatives and think beyond the parameters of the project.
-Experience in large scale complex, integrated projects. In-depth understanding of all design disciplines.
-Possess the exceptional interpersonal skills required to bring required. --- ----Stakeholders together to productively collaborate, negotiate, reach consensus and finalize project decisions.
-Solid project management skills.
-Proven and effective presentation skills.
-Proven ability to work independently and under pressure; while continuing to use good judgment when making Program related decisions that support the Delivery effort.
-Sound reporting skills
-Strong negotiating and conflict resolution skills.
-Ability to maneuver in a culturally diverse and dynamic environment.
-Ability to comfortably and knowledgably manage throughout all phases of the Program including planning, procurement, design, and construction phases.
