Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Contracts & Commercial Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to oversee and manage contracts in a a major roads improvement in Riyadh, KSA.

Responsible for providing PMO team with the required contract administration activities and assigned pre-award contract administration functions. Provide technical guidance , including design type contracts, contract preparation, evaluation, negotiation and award of public works, operations & maintenance, consulting studies. Responsible for protecting the Royal Commission and Company interests in all contractual matters

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Manages all contract activity for the program.

  • Participates with the program director and his deputy and all the project managers in strategic planning activities for specific projects (e.g. risk assessment, particular conditions, claims, contract signing).

  • Provides technical guidance to assigned personnel, and ensures proficiency and timeliness of contract administration.

  • • Collaborates with sectors and project management to ensure proper support in proposal preparation, as well as contract negotiations and administration.

  • Negotiates the more difficult, complex, or sensitive issues with client and all the key stakeholders.

  • The Sr. Contract administrator will be owner of the claim logs and to ensure that all contractual concerns are closed. The aim to ensure no cost impact is approved without solid and firm justification. The administrator to be present in all the negotiations and to present on weekly basis any concerns/risks that could hinder the program.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • 20+ years experience with at least 3 years in similar leadership role, ,ideally in a PMO or a major PMC

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field from recognized University.

  • Applicant should have a minimum of (20) years of experience in Engineering and Infrastructure contracts, including contract administration, and procurement with emphasis on administration activities which includes design, consulting studies, infrastructure projects, public works, and large value infrastructure type construction contracts.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Must have excellent writing skills Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

  • Must also be computer literate and skilled in the use of MS Office, (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint) for word processing and presentation of spreadsheets, and use of other analytical software tools.
